Golden By-Products has been an active member of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) Tire Processing Chapter since 2002. Jana Nairn has served as an officer and active in committee leadership throughout their membership. She is currently serving as the Chapter Secretary.
 

Through ISRI Golden has participated in development of industry-wide specifications including tire wire and civil engineering materials and is currently working on a Design for Recycling campaign in collaboration with Tire Mfg members of the Rubber Manufacturers Association.
 

Additional benefits and efforts of ISRI membership include Recycle Guard Insurance program specifically suited for the recycling industry and very cost competitive. ISRI Tire Chapter committees are currently working on developing Tire Recycling Best Practices in a continued attempt to raise the bar for the industry with regards to loss prevention – namely safety and fire. Karen Barstow is representing Golden on this committee.
 

Golden is also a producer member of the Rubber Pavements Association. This west coast based international organization is instrumental in the support and promotion of asphalt rubber – a leading market for recycled tire crumb rubber. The benefit of this membership is networking with the largest users of asphalt rubber and first hand knowledge of use and specification changes in the industry.
 

Golden also belongs to the following organizations: California Chamber of Commerce, Merced County Farm Bureau and is a subscriber of the California Tire Report.
